The dining room was open everyday for lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner with a special dinner buffet on Sundays. Many of the valley's social affairs and cultural events were held at the theatre. HISTORY
The Padua Hills Theatre was originally part of the Padua Hills Institute founded in the late 1920's by Herman H. Garner and his wife Bess. Their original intention was to foster and build a relationship with Mexico and their people.
The idea was to set up a Mexican dinner theatre where valley residents could come and enjoy the fine Mexican cuisine and watch as the Padua Players performed various plays on stage.
