The Padua Hills Theatre is located in the hills of Claremont, California at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains and the Mt. Baldy Resort. It is in a very natural setting with a very tranquil feel with the surrounding natural beauty.
WEDDING RECEPTIONS
Wedding receptions are our specialty. For the last twenty years, Chantrelles Fine Catering at the Padua Hills Theatre has worked with brides and grooms in developing unbelievable wedding receptions. From a simple low-key reception to a grand sit-down meal service with many courses and a red carpet entrance, we can create just the right mood for your special day. Our events are fully organized by one of our wedding coordinators who will be with you from the day you book with us all the way through the end of your event.
We offer an extensive menu featuring both traditional continental and specialty international cuisine prepared by our award winning chefs. Our chefs will, when requested, meet with you to personalize a menu you will be proud to serve to your guests. Our friendly and professional wait staff had been with us for many years and always cater to your every need. We believe that your wedding is just as important to us as it is to you. WEDDING CEREMONIES
The Padua Hills Theatre and Banquet Center offers a beautifully designed courtyard and garden setting to host your wedding ceremony.
As your guests walk up the large brick walkway through the pillars, they can take in the beauty of the courtyard and garden area which is all set among hundreds of olive trees. With over 400 different plants and trees, there is color abound everywhere you look.
We have several areas on site where you may have your ceremony. Our small gazebo area which seats up to 100 guests boasts a Mountain View background while our large gazebo is set up high where up to 300 guests can watch as you tie the knot. For those who do not desire a gazebo setting, we offer a unique alternative in our courtyard area using the magnificent olive trees as your canopy.
INDOOR CEREMONIES
As most of our clients truly love the feeling of our courtyard and garden setting, some desire a more simple, indoor chapel style wedding ceremony. We have the ability to create just the right ambiance in our main hall. We also provide indoor ceremonies for those clients who encounter inclement weather during the winter and spring seasons.
NOTE: The Padua Hills Theatre and Chantrelles Fine Catering does offer ceremonies only for our guests who wish to use our beautiful courtyard area. Please contact us directly for pricing.
GENERAL CEREMONY INFORMATION
All of our wedding ceremonies include the following: we clean and prepare the ceremony area, place out all the chairs to accommodate your guests, order in and place down a cloth white aisle runner, set up a guest book podium or table, gift table, and a ceremony table (if needed). The area is then cleaned up and everything is put away at the conclusion of the ceremony.
We also include a one-hour rehearsal during the week of your wedding. We offer our clients (at an additional charge) all the sound support, music, and microphones they may need for their ceremony (i.e. kneeling bench, organ, piano, etc.)

The Padua Hills Theatre and Banquet Center has hosted hundreds of company and corporate events. From Board of Directors formal dinners to major fund-raisers, we have the creativity and ability to put together just the right mix of cuisine and entertainment to suit our clients' needs. We also offer many types of special themed events as well. Whatever our clients can dream up, we can create.
